The mission of W.E. MOVE! is to provide customized tutoring services for elementary school children whose parents/guardians seek to provide assistance for academic weakness and/or who seek to ensure their early learner retains the information they were introduced to during the previous school year.

The Spark Renewal Center will be presenting single day workshops to school districts and afterschool providers in Indianapolis, IN. Session 1, Healing Invisible Wounds: A Trauma-Informed Approach to Help Youth Overcome Trauma While Enhancing their Well-Being, will use an evidence-based and culturally relevant model of trauma and trauma-informed care to give participants hands-on applications for understanding trauma-informed care and its role in serving youth. Session 2, Creating an Equity Toolkit: Strategies for Individualizing Paths to College and Career Success, will take a critically reflective look at a fundamental question of our work – how do we avoid tracking our young people and instead help them identify and pursue post-secondary paths that reflect their unique aspirations, strengths, and needs?
